Nancy highlights the fact his team play well for one half at a time. For instance, were it not for missed chances they could have been greater than 1-0 up. “The performance had merit except the fact that we missed a second goal,” he said. “I acknowledge that we lost, but I must remain balanced.
“The level we had at certain moments was really, really, really high. That is a fact. I could not talk like that if it was different. That is the reason, in terms of results, I said it's a repeating pattern. That’s why I believe we are nearly there to things turning around. Right now: details, details, details.”
“There were plenty of positives that we did, once more. But now comes down to performing for 90 minutes. My outlook would change if I didn't believe it. Therefore I am convinced the team can to turn things around.”
Opposition Reaction Outlook
The victorious boss played down talk of a title charge even after what seemed like a statement victory. “We take it game by game, and we can really build up a challenge,” he said. “The belief in the squad is excellent.”
